Mangalore:The Coordinators of Small Christian Community (SCC) of City and Episcopal Deaneries of Mangalore Diocese had a Spirit Revival Workshop at Rishivana near Ranipura on January 14, 2010.

The workshop guide and resource person Rev.Dr.Ronald Cutinha of Samanvaya conducted the proceedings through participatory approach. The workshop was inaugurated by sharing of experiences by the participants. The contents of the workshop were: The need and importance of the SCC Coordinators, their qualification, role and responsibilities. Case study, group discussion and sharing of the findings enlightened their spirit. Planning and implementing new ways of thinking attracted the participants.
‘The combination of charismatic and value filled SCC Coordinators, constantly encouraging parish priests and inspirational guidance from the diocesan authorities can result in building better Christian Communities’ was the common consensus of participants.
Mr. Robert D’Souza who took the lead to arrange this workshop welcomed and Mr. Joseph M. D’Souza of Kelarai proposed Vote of thanks. There 19 participants from 14 parishes. Rev.Fr.Gilbert D’Souza, Mangalore Diocesan Director for SCC organized this workshop.
