Ingredients
Mutton - 1 ½ Kg
Red Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp.
Coriander Powder - 2 Tsp.
Cumin Powder - 2 Tsp.
Pepper Powder - 1 ½ Tsp.
Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp.
Cinnamon 2 Sticks
Cloves 8
Poppy seeds - ½ Tsp. (Optional)
Tamarind a small ball
Onion Sliced - 6
Garlic - 4 cloves
Coriander Leaves 1 Bunch
Mint Leaves a little
Green Chillies - 10 No's
Ginger - 1 ½ inch
ghee / oil
Method
Fry 5 onions in very little oil on the pan until brown in color and then add all the powders and fry well till the aroma comes. Grind all these with the rest ingredients.
Heat 2 Tablespoon ghee in a vessel and fry one sliced onion to reddish color. Add the masala and fry well till the ghee floats on top. Add mutton and cook till the meat is tender
