Mangalore: Jamiyyatul Falah, the Mangalore Corporation Unit has donated
2 Dialysis Machines on 09.12.2011. Earlier they had donated 2 machines.
This will be to dialyse the needy poor patients.
The Father Muller Charitable Institutions is grateful to Jamiyyatul
Falah for their gesture of concern and good will shown towards our
Institution. Already 14 machines are functioning in 3 shifts of 4 hours
each. A short programme was arranged in the Council Hall.
Fr.Richard Coelho the Administrator of the Hospital welcomed the
gathering and introduced the Chief Guest Mr.Khaleel Ahmed the President
of Jamiyyatul Falah and Mr.Nissar Ahmed Chairman, Presidency
Group of Institutions and other office bearers, doctors and Nursing
Staff.
Dr.J.P.Alva, Dean spoke on the causes of Renal Failure. He added
uncontrolled diabetes and uncontrolled hypertension is mainly causing
renal failure. Regular exercise and proper food habits can control this
disease. He also said that when it is causing renal failure dialysis
helps the patient.
The Director of FMCI Fr.Patrick Rodrigues spoke on the occasion and
expressed his gratitude to Jamiyyatul Falah. Later the 2 dialysis
machines were blessed by the Director and installed in the Department.
