Mangalore: Sandesha Foundation for Culture & Education ®, Mangalore, organizes the much-awaited Kalotsava 2010, a Children’s Festival of Art and Communication Skills, from November 8 to 13, 2010, at the Sandesha Kalabhavan.
The Festival intends to promote the talents among the children and also inculcate in them patriotism, communal amity and other human values.
The Festival is open to the students of the Higher Primary, High school and PUC classes with events like Western Singing (Solo) Western Instrumental, (Keyboard), Classical Dance, Classical Singing (Carnatic Vocal and Hindustani Vocal), Folk Dance, Folk Songs, Patriotic Songs and Variety Entertainment. November 11 has been set apart for the Specially-abled Children with items like Drawing, Fancy Dress and Singing.
The inaugural function will be on November 8 at 9.30 am with Mrs. Narayani Damodar, Senior Announcer, Akashvani, Mangalore, as the Chief Guest. The Finale will be held on November 13 at 3 pm.
We request you to honour us with your presence and encourage the budding talents on all the days of the Kalotsava.
