Mangalore: Bethany Educational Society of Mangalore Province organized one day motivational training to their selected teachers at St. Raymond’s Provincial House, Vamanjoor on May 24, 2010.
The resource person Rev. Dr Ronald Cutinha director of Samanvaya explained the duties of a good teacher, need of commitment and dedication, unearthing of the talents of students etc. through various incidents, stories and PowerPoint presentations. The group discussion on ideal teacher, problems faced by the teachers, and teacher-student relations were appreciated by the teachers present.
With the guidance of Rev. Sr Mariet B.S. the Provincial Superior of Mangalore Province of Bethany Society, Sr Christella B.S. the secretary of Bethany Educational Institutes of Mangalore Province organized this training. Sr Christella welcomed the gathering and introduced the resource person. Sr Lucy Pinto proposed vote of thanks. 29 teachers from various schools of D.K. district participated in this training.
