Mangalore 23rd December 2008:Nisarga Play School located at K.P.T. College Kadri hills, Mangalore celebrated inter-religious Christmas on December 21, 2008 at its premises.


Brahma Kumari Vishweshwari, Directress of Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Mangalore inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and said that Christmas is a festival of birth of Jesus who is light to the universe.



Mr.Krishnayya K. the Dy. Tahsildar of Mangalore taluk distributed prizes and gave the message of peace. The president of the function Rev. Dr Ronald Cutinha director of Samanvaya having cut the Christmas cake delivered the Christmas message of love, peace, joy and sharing.


Variety cultural events depicted Christmas message of peace, unity, love and brotherhood. Nisarga Play School Kids actively participated in Christmas carols singing. The parents of the children too were given prizes for their active involvement in the celebration preparing variety of Christmas stars.


The director of the school Mrs Patsy D’Souza headed responsibility of organizing the event and compered the programme. The correspondent of the school Mr Victor D’Souza welcomed and Mrs Vidya Shenoy proposed vote of thanks. Christmas sweets were distributed to all.
